Job summary

Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action seeks an Executive Coordinator to support the Executive Director in the Whole of Energy Strategy and Transition Division. You will manage coordination of policy documents, high-level briefings, and submissions requiring oversight and approval.

You will also coordinate inputs for divisional performance reporting and contribute to the annual business plan and corporate requirements, while maintaining strong relationships across the division and

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills including the ability to use a range of software applications (tools for project reporting, procurement).
• Previous government experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate policy documents and high-level briefings requiring Executive Director oversight and approval.
• Coordinate divisional input into departmental performance and reporting, including PAEC, monthly and annual reporting and internal communications.
• Support the Division’s annual business plan and corporate requirements.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships within the division, across Energy Group and the department.
