Job summary

Cumberland City Council is seeking an experienced Executive Manager Civil Infrastructure to lead and oversee Civil Projects and Maintenance. You will manage a broad range of functions, delivering capital works and maintenance with a focus on community outcomes.

The role requires significant leadership, advanced communication skills, and expertise in civil infrastructure, with a strong track record in budget planning and program delivery. A Class C drivers’ licence is expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in engineering, project management and/or civil infrastructure related discipline with significant leadership skills and experience at a senior level.
• Significant experience in development and implementation of civil infrastructure capital work programs and projects.
• Significant experience in managing significant and complex maintenance programs.
• Budget planning and management with forward planning and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil infrastructure capital works programs and maintenance.
• Provide leadership and oversight to a team of 29 employees.
• Report into the Director City Services.
• Contribute to shared goals as part of the senior leadership team.
• Ensure valuable and quality outcomes for the community.
