Job summary

Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. in Adelaide, SA, seeks an Executive General Manager to lead operations, reporting to the Executive Director. This full-time, 2-year contract role includes oversight of disability services, education and recreation programs, and DSS contract compliance.

The EGM will drive strategic development, secure resources, and foster a collaborative culture, with KPIs guiding performance and impact for people with disability and families.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in disability, education, social science or finance.
• Experience in project development, tender writing, and new project implementation and management.
• Past management experience in more than one similar organisation to CBS Inc.
• Experience working with people with disability, their families and carers.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances.

Responsibilities

• Manage employment, education, recreation programs and personal development programs.
• Manage the DSS reporting system to meet contractual obligations with DSS.
• Research, develop and maintain innovative programs across recreation, education and employment.
• Secure financial and other resources for CBS Inc. programs.
• Liaise with key stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Ensure effective human resource management.
• Assist the Executive Director to respond to service problems and consumer disputes.
• Maintain an effective workplace culture aligned with best HR practices including WHS and equal opportunity.
• Develop policies, procedures, systems and reports as required.
• Lead managers and oversee CBS Inc. Quality Assurance System.
• Represent the Executive Director as required.
