Kyogle Council is seeking a highly skilled Director of Assets & Infrastructure Services to lead our Directorate within the Executive Leadership Team. The role oversees civil works, water and sewerage, asset management, and capital programs to keep the community connected and resilient.

You will guide strategic planning, financial management, and stakeholder relationships, driving safety, compliance, and innovation across infrastructure and service delivery for the region.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree with significant leadership experience.
• Extensive civil engineering expertise: water, sewer, roads, asset management.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and capital works.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Proven leadership fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Experience in local government, emergency management, GIS or related fields.

Aufgaben

• Provide high-level advice to the General Manager, Mayor, and Councillors on infrastructure and asset management matters.
• Lead multidisciplinary team delivering civil works, maintenance, and capital projects.
• Oversee strategic planning, financial management, and contracts within the Directorate.
• Foster community and stakeholder relationships ensuring transparency, safety, and collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement, compliance, and innovation across infrastructure and service delivery.
