Job summary

Kyogle Council is seeking a motivated Project Engineer or Project Manager to join the Assets and Infrastructure Services team for a two-year assignment. You will deliver planning, delivery, and contract management across diverse regional infrastructure, working with a broad range of stakeholders.

The role offers a career-graded path (Grade 8-9) with a salary starting at 89,107.20 AUD per year and up to 120,218.80 AUD per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Engineering professional with project and/or contract management experience.
• Strong civil engineering design knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver project and contract management across infrastructure projects.
• Plan, program, and deliver capital works activities.
• Prepare tenders, contracts, specifications, and project documentation.
• Prepare project plans, estimates, and job packages.
• Manage external grant applications and funding administration.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environment and legislation.
