Job summary

Reporting to the Management Committee, you will oversee leadership, financial sustainability and performance while implementing the 2027-2031 Strategic Plan and capitalising on opportunities around

Qualifications

• Significant senior management or executive leadership experience.
• Strong financial management skills and commercial judgement.
• Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships and revenue opportunities.
• Experience implementing strategic and operational plans.
• Excellent leadership with a focus on accountability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation of the Strategic Plan and translate priorities into measurable outcomes.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, expenditure control and revenue growth.
• Identify and secure sponsorships, partnerships, grants and other revenue sources.
• Lead initiatives to grow participation and enhance player, coach, official and member experience.
• Build a high-performing team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Engage with government, Basketball Queensland, Basketball Australia and other stakeholders.
• Provide governance oversight, risk management and compliance with sporting requirements.
