Job summary

BGIS is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the delivery of integrated facility and asset management services across NSW government properties from Parramatta. You will lead a large team, drive performance, and maintain strong client relationships with a focus on commercial excellence and safety.

The role requires senior experience in facilities management, robust financial discipline, and a collaborative leadership style to deliver outcomes for essential government services.

Qualifications

• Significant senior experience within integrated property services, facilities management, or a similar complex industry.
• Proven experience overseeing medium to large contract teams in a hands-on capacity.
• Strong commercial acumen with high-level financial and business planning capability.
• Demonstrated experience building and sustaining executive-level client relationships with diplomacy and care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of all contractual obligations, KPIs and abatements avoided.
• Take accountability for the contract's financial performance, including budgets and margins.
• Prepare and present budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting to executives and client.
• Oversee integrated property, facilities, financial, and project management services across the portfolio.
• Nurture trusted relationships with client executives and ensure clear priority alignment.
• Coach and mentor a large account team to perform at their best.
• Oversee performance and reporting to meet governance requirements.
• Manage subcontractor delivery, procurement, and performance.
