Job summary

Novotel Perth Murray Street in Perth CBD is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the Miss Mi kitchen. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will set culinary direction, oversee operations across dining, conferencing and events, and craft bold Pan-Asian menus.

You will manage food quality, cost, and people, inspiring Heartists to deliver memorable guest experiences while maintaining HACCP, WHS, and high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Proven Exec/Head Chef in high-volume hospitality.
• Genuine Pan-Asian culinary expertise essential.
• Strong P&L and cost management skills.
• Knowledge of HACCP, WHS and kitchen compliance.
• People-first leadership and talent development.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the culinary direction of Miss Mi, delivering a bold Pan-Asian offering.
• Lead, inspire and develop the kitchen Heartists to build a high-performing team.
• Drive quality, consistency and creativity across restaurant, conferencing, events and hotel dining.
• Own the numbers—food cost, labour, purchasing, margins, menu engineering and profitability.
