Broken Hill University Department of Rural Health (BHUDRH) in Broken Hill, NSW, is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Head of the Rural Clinical School. This full-time, funding contingent continuing role sits in a dynamic, education-focused environment.

You will coordinate diaries and emails, organise events, and assist with travel, procurement, and university systems while engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and maintaining professional discretion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience providing high-level administrative or executive support in a tertiary/large organisation.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and multiple systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide high-level administrative support to the Head of Rural Clinical School and the executive team.
• Manage diary, emails, meetings, and agendas.
• Coordinate school events, visits and external stakeholder engagements.
• Arrange travel and accommodation; handle purchasing requests and system processes.
• Collaborate with campus staff on accommodation, logistics and student placements.
• Conduct ad hoc research and coordinate project tasks as required.
• Act as a central point of contact for internal and external inquiries.
