Job summary

Mackay Hospital and Health Service is seeking an Executive Assistant (Reliever) to provide confidential executive support to the Office of the Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team, including coverage for unplanned absences. The role works within MHHS to ensure efficient service delivery and coordination of governance tasks.

The position is a permanent reliever based in Mackay, offering opportunities for professional development and a collaborative culture within a regional health

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of confidential executive and administrative support and coordination for unplanned absences and leave to support designated members of the Executive Leadership Team.
• Work as part of a broader executive support team, coordinating daily functions of the Executive Office to ensure smooth service delivery within the Office of the Chief Executive and ELT at MHHS.
• Undertake duties within the Strategy and Governance team during relief periods.
• Maintain a day-to-day working relationship with assigned ELT members (Executive Director/Senior Director).
