Job summary

ACT Health is seeking an Executive Assistant for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Hub, based at The Canberra Hospital, Garran. This full-time, temporary 9-month role (with potential extension or permanency) provides high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Branch Manager and contributes to culturally safe healthcare initiatives for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The position is an Identified role under the Public Sector Management Act.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identification is mandatory for this Identified role.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Executive Branch Manager.
• Assist with branch operations and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of priorities.
• Support engagement with communities, consumers, staff and stakeholders for culturally safe service delivery.
