Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chief Executive Officer in a local government setting. The role manages complex calendars, travels, prepares reports, and coordinates executive events.

You will coordinate procurement, handle confidential information, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining meticulous records and timely communications. Queensland driver’s licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting senior executives in an Executive Assistant or similar role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong report writing, minute taking and document preparation experience.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
  • Experience within Local Government is highly regarded.
  • Experience using TechnologyOne and ECM is desirable.
  • Current Queensland C Class Driver Licence.

  • Liaise professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records, registers and confidential documentation.
  • Support the coordination of Executive Leadership Team activities and priorities.

  • Competitive pay rate of $70.16 - $76.35 per hour
