SEE Group is hiring Experienced Excavator Operators to join our professional teams in the Tweed region. The role covers 8t-50t excavators, bulk earthworks and GPS final trim, with hourly pay rate and regular overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience operating 8t-50t excavators in fast-paced environments.
• Must hold an Excavator ticket and an OHS induction card.
• Ability to work as part of a reliable, safety-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you’re required to operate.
• Operate/drive plant safely and efficiently to suit job conditions.
• Ensure the safety of other team members and the public in line with regulations.
• Report any fault/damage to the Site Supervisor promptly.
• Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and refuelling; assist with minor repairs.
• Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

About the Role

SEE Group have a great career opportunity available forExperienced Excavator Operators to join our highly professional and skilled teams in the Tweed region. This is a diverse and fast-paced full-time role operating 8t-50t Excavators, completing Bulk Earthworks and GPS Final Trim, hourly pay rate + regular overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-start checklists on plant you're required to operate
• Operate /drive plant properly and safely to suit the individual job conditions.
• Ensure safety of other team members and the public in accordance with the legislative requirements.
• Report any fault/damage/problem the plant you are assigned to the Site Supervisor.
• Service equipment by cleaning, lubricating and re-fueling it and make minor adjustments and repairs when necessary, in consultation with the Workshop Personnel.
• Keep plant in a clean and tidy state.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Hold an Excavator ticket
• Have an OHS Induction Card
• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work with little supervision and be able to work as part of a team
• Strong safety initiative
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be reliable and dedicated to the role
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including a drug and alcohol screen
