Job summary

Rowcon Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support our concrete recycling and construction waste management operations in Caloundra. You will handle pre-sorting of C&D materials and assist with feeding Mulching, Screening and Crushing equipment to maximize recycling output.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience operating excavators, preferably in a waste management or construction demolition setting.
• Knowledge of C&D materials and recycling processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for pre-sorting construction and demolition (C&D) materials.
• Ensure efficient processing and sorting of waste materials to maximize recycling efforts.
• Experience feeding Mulching, Screening and Crushing equipment
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
