Job summary

GAF TECH Pty Ltd in Western Sydney is seeking a permanent full-time excavator operator/labourer. You will work with a skilled civil crew on underground electricity pipe installation and cable pulling, and support other plant operators.

Ideal candidates have a MR truck licence, proven excavator experience around services, a safety-focused attitude, and physical fitness. Weekly pay, overtime, uniform and PPE supplied, with travel to site paid from depot.

GAF TECH Pty Ltd, with its depot located near Seven Hills, in Western Sydney, is an Accredited Level 1 Service Provider that has been working on Endeavour Energy and Ausgrid electricity distribution networks for over 25 years.

We are seeking additional field staff within our civil division. We are offering a permanent full time position for a excavator operator / labourer that may have worked in this industry and have knowledge with pipe laying and general civil works.

Duties

Be part of a skilled crew involved with excavation and installation of underground electricity pipes and pulling in electricity cables.

Assisting other plant operators with spotting.

Assisting trades with construction of electricity infrastructure.

Floating spoil and equipment to and from a job site.

Requirements

Must have a Truck License (minimum MR).

Must be a competent excavator operator capable of digging around services.

Knowledge and commitment to work, health and safety.

Must be a dedicated worker.

Must be physically fit for work.

Regular overtime paid at overtime rates.

Permanent full time secure employment paid weekly.

Travel to and from job site is paid as you start and finish at depot.

Paid on days off due to rain.

Uniform and personal protective equipment fully supplied.

Excellent team environment.
