Job summary

WM Waste Management Services, a leading waste management company, is seeking an experienced wheel loader and excavator operator at our heavy waste sorting facility located in Wantirna South. The role offers a permanent position with an immediate start and requires flexibility with working hours.

You will operate wheel loaders and excavators, assist in sorting recyclables, and follow safety policies on site. Expect overtime, some Saturday work, and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised licences including wheel loader operator and excavator operator.
• Forklift licence (preferred).
• Truck licence (HR preferred).
• Right to Work in Australia.
• OH&S minded and safety conscious.
• Punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Operate wheel loaders and excavators.
• Operate soil screeners, crushers and sorters after training.
• Assist in sorting recyclables on site.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures on site.
• Able to follow instructions and carry out work to a high standard.
• Carry out other duties as required by supervision.

We require candidates who have a flexible approach to working hours, are a team player and are self motivated and able to carry out work unsupervised.

Details of the positions include:

• We offer a permanent position with an immediate start
• There is regular overtime for those seeking it
• Some Saturday work will also be required.
• Company supplied uniforms

• Operating wheel loaders and excavators
• Operating soil screeners, crushers and sorters after training
• Assist in sorting recyclables
• Adhering to all safety policies and procedures on site
• Able to follow instructions given and carry out the work to a high standard
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:
