Job summary

Zancott Recruitment Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Civil Operator / HC Driver for an ongoing civil infrastructure project based in Pakenham South, VIC. The role combines plant operation, truck driving and civil labouring to support installation works.

You will operate excavators up to 20-30 tonnes, drive HC trucks, deliver pipe and materials, and assist with underground pipeline installation while maintaining safety on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• Current HC Licence.
• AEX experience with 20–30T excavators.
• Strong civil construction and labouring background.
• Electrical Spotter ticket.
• Working at Heights ticket.
• White Card (construction induction).
• Willingness to mix operating, driving and labouring tasks.
• Dogman/Rigger tickets are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators up to 20–30 tonnes.
• Drive HC trucks, including tandems and project vehicles.
• Deliver pipe and materials from yard to site.
• Assist with NDD truck operations.
• General civil labouring and site support.
• Work around deep excavations and shoring.
• Assist with underground pipeline installation.
• Electrical spotting duties as required.
• Maintain safety around mobile plant and active worksites.

Multi-Skilled Civil Operator / HC Driver

Pakenham South, VIC
Monday to Friday | 7:00am - 5:00pm
Ongoing civil infrastructure project

Zancott Recruitment is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Civil Operator / HC Driver for an ongoing civil infrastructure project based in Pakenham South.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is genuinely multi-skilled across plant operation, truck driving and civil labouring.

The role

Duties will include:

• Operating excavators up to 20-30 tonnes
• Driving HC trucks, including tandems and other project vehicles
• Delivering pipe and materials from the yard to site
• Assisting with NDD truck operations
• General civil labouring and supporting crews on site
• Working around deep excavations and shoring systems
• Assisting with large underground pipeline installation
• Electrical spotting duties as required
• Working safely around mobile plant and active construction areas

The project involves the installation of large underground pipe using directional drilling and deep excavation methods.

About you

To be considered, you will need:

• Current HC Licence
• Excavator ticket with experience operating 20-30T machines
• Strong civil construction and labouring experience
• Current Electrical Spotter ticket
• Working at Heights ticket
• White Card
• Ability and willingness to move between operating, driving and labouring duties

Dogman and/or Rigger tickets will be highly regarded.
