Zinfra PTY Ltd. in Brisbane, Heathwood depot, is seeking an Advanced Plant Operator to join our civil construction crews. You will perform hands-on excavation, backfilling, cable installation including underground fibre optics, recoveries and reinstatement on diverse projects.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team on fast-paced but safety‑driven sites. Standard hours are 6:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to grow your skills in earthworks and site control.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating excavators with trenching techniques and avoiding underground services.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and implement environmental controls.
• Current HR Driver’s Licence and machinery tickets are preferred.
• First Aid, Dogging and Confined Space tickets are desirable.

• Load and unload construction materials and supplies from trucks.
• Keep the work site organised, safe, and running smoothly, including machinery and work sites.

• Read and interpret plans and take direction from the Crew Leader.

About the Role

Join our high performing civil construction crews as an Advanced Plant Operator out of our Heathwood depot and play a hands‑on role in delivering essential infrastructure. You’ll take on varied work across excavation, backfilling, cable installation including underground fibre optics, recoveries and reinstatement.

This field‑based opportunity will see you working alongside a skilled, multidisciplinary team on projects where no two days are the same. You’ll build your experience across a broad range of activities, take on meaningful responsibility and stay challenged in a fast‑paced, supportive environment. About You

The successful applicant will have experience working in a similar role within the construction industry, while actively participating in identifying site hazards and implementing control measures.

• Proven experience operating excavators, with a strong knowledge of trenching techniques and the ability to dig around underground services


• Ability to implement environmental controls and read and interpret DBYD plans


• Current HR Driver’s Licence


• Excavators and Skid Steer tickets


• First Aid, Dogging, and Confined Space tickets are highly desirable
