Job summary

Allstate Canada Group is seeking an Event Specialist to provide hands-on coordination and execution support for internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and events across Allstate brands. The role operates independently within defined processes, applying judgment, organization, and collaboration to deliver on-brand outcomes.

You will coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, roadshows, and programs, manage vendors and contracts, track budgets, and ensure branding,

Qualifications

  • Experience in Communications, Events, or Program Coordination.
  • Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills.

Job Description

The Event Specialist provides hands‑on coordination and execution support for internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and internal and external events across Allstate Canada’s brands. This role operates independently within defined processes, applying judgment, organization, and collaboration skills to deliver consistent, on brand, and well executed outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Support the execution of internal and external communications initiatives across Allstate, Pembridge, and Pafco

  • Create, edit, and finalize a variety of communication materials (e.g., presentations, reports, event communications, and web content)

  • Ensure all communications meet established standards for branding, tone, accessibility, and translation

  • Coordinate and execute logistics for a variety of events, including meetings, conferences, roadshows, and employee programs

  • Research and manage event vendors, venues, and contracts, ensuring seamless delivery and positive participant experiences

  • Oversee event registration, attendee communications, and post‑event follow‑up activities

  • Track budgets and expenses, manage invoices, and support financial processes related to events and communications

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high‑quality, timely outcomes

  • Identify opportunities for improvement by analyzing feedback, researching best practices, and contributing to process enhancements

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in Communications, Events, or Program Coordination

  • Strong organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience managing vendors and coordinating logistics for events or initiatives

  • High attention to detail and strong follow‑through

  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced, multi‑stakeholder environment

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, with strong planning and time management skills

  • Experience creating or editing communication materials (e.g., presentations, emails, or event content) for different audiences

  • Confidence using tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)

Compensation

Expected compensation for this role ranges from $ 63,000.00 - 98,475.00 annually. Actual salary offered to successful candidates will vary based on their skills and experience.
