Salter Brothers Hospitality's Ardour Milton Park Bowral invites an experienced Events Operations Manager to lead weddings, corporate events and bespoke celebrations at our luxury Bowral property. You will ensure flawless delivery from setup to pack down with a focus on guest experience.

You'll oversee timelines, supplier coordination and staffing, collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B leaders, coach teams and constantly seek improvements to maintain the highest standards of presentation

Responsibilities

• Lead operational delivery of weddings, events and conferences from setup to pack down.
• Oversee timelines, service delivery, supplier coordination and guest experience.
• Primary on-the-ground contact for wedding couples and event clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef, Sales & Events team and Food & Beverage leaders for seamless planning.
• Manage event logistics, run sheets, staffing and venue presentation.
• Lead, coach and motivate Events and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor operations, anticipate guest needs and resolve issues professionally.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and industry partners to generate repeat business.
• Ensure event spaces maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and luxury hospitality.
• Support Restaurant Manager during non-event periods to maintain service quality.
• Drive continuous improvement across wedding and event operations.

Ardour Milton Park Bowral is seeking an Events Operations Manager to deliver exceptional weddings, corporate events and bespoke celebrations, ensuring every guest experience is seamless, memorable and executed to the highest standard.

Milton Park Country House Hotel & Spa in Bowral, NSW, has undergone a $10 million transformation and recently reopened in February 2026 as Ardour Milton Park Bowral, the very first flagship in our new Ardour Hotels & Estates collection.

Nestled on a secluded hilltop woodland just under two hours from Sydney, Ardour Milton Park Bowral is a luxury escape like no other. The role and key duties...

Lead the operational delivery of weddings, events and conferences, ensuring every event is executed flawlessly from setup through to pack down.

Serve as the operational lead for all wedding and event days, overseeing timelines, service delivery, supplier coordination and guest experience.

Act as the primary on-the-ground contact for wedding couples, event clients and key stakeholders, ensuring expectations are exceeded at every touchpoint.

Coordinate closely with the Executive Chef, Sales & Events team and Food & Beverage leaders to ensure seamless event planning and execution.

Manage all event logistics, including room setups, run sheets, staffing requirements, venue presentation and operational readiness.

Lead, coach and motivate the Events and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.

Proactively monitor event operations, anticipating guest needs and resolving issues efficiently and professionally.

Build strong relationships with wedding couples, corporate clients, suppliers and industry partners to enhance guest satisfaction and generate repeat business.

Ensure all event spaces are maintained to the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and luxury hospitality.

Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, liquor licensing, food safety and company policies.

Support the Restaurant Manager in leading restaurant operations during non-event periods, maintaining exceptional service standards and smooth day-to-day operations.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across wedding and event operations, identifying opportunities to enhance guest experiences, team performance and operational outcomes.

You'll thrive in this role if you have...

Previous leadership experience in weddings, events, hospitality or hotel operations, with demonstrated success delivering weddings, conferences and special events.

Strong understanding of Food & Beverage operations and service standards.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional guest service skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering memorable event experiences.

Knowledge of WHS, food safety and liquor licensing requirements.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
