Job summary

National Convention Centre Canberra (NCCC) seeks an Assistant Event Services Manager to lead the Event Services team, coordinating operations, planning and delivery of conferences and events. The role reports to the Event Services Manager and focuses on ensuring seamless experiences for clients and guests.

Applicant should bring leadership experience in large-scale events, strong operational focus and a solid understanding of safety, HACCP and WHS requirements.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in large-scale events or hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of safety, HACCP, WHS and operational compliance requirements.
• Experience with event systems (MICROS, FutureLog, Shiji) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Event Services team and oversee operational management of conferences and events.
• Coordinate day-to-day Event Services operations to maximise guest satisfaction and departmental performance.
• Ensure events are executed according to BEOs and maintain data integrity across systems.
