Job summary

Friends Of Friends invites an experienced Event Coordinator to join our Brisbane-based venues. You will be the first contact for group event inquiries and manage multi-venue requests across platforms, ensuring seamless hospitality experiences.

You’ll partner with Guest Experience and Reservations teams, craft detailed run-sheets, and coordinate private dining events that feel personalized and memorable. Weekend availability and proactive communication are essential to success.

• Experience in event coordination in restaurants or event centers is essential.
• Meticulous attention to detail when creating run-sheets and communicating requirements within the teams.
• Excellent tone and manner on phone, email and message platforms - we use these daily.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for group Event inquiries.
• Manage inquiries for multiple venues, platforms and inboxes in a seamless and efficient manner.
• Work within an existing Guest Experience team, collaborating and managing workload.
• Integrate with the Reservations team as there is daily crossover and task sharing.
• Respond to inquiries and clients with warmth, enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.
• Fluidly create and coordinate unique and memorable events within our portfolio of private dining rooms and event spaces
• Work closely with our venue teams to deliver a consistently exceptional experience from start to finish.
• Identify opportunities to elevate celebrations, personalize experiences and create memorable moments that keep guests coming back.

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is about creating great experiences and in your role you will:

• Be the first point of contact for group Event inquiries.

• Manage inquiries for multiple venues, platforms and inboxes in a seamless and efficient manner.

• Work within an existing Guest Experience team, collaborating and managing workload.

• Integrate with the Reservations team as there is daily crossover and task sharing.

• Respond to inquiries and clients with warmth, enthusiasm and genuine hospitality.

• Fluidly create and coordinate unique and memorable events within our portfolio of private dining rooms and event spaces

• Work closely with our venue teams to deliver a consistently exceptional experience from start to finish.

• Identify opportunities to elevate celebrations, personalize experiences and create memorable moments that keep guests coming back.

About You

You are someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and making them smile.

You will bring:

• Experience in event coordination in restaurants or event centers is essential.

• Meticulous attention to detail when creating run-sheets and communicating requirements within the teams.

• Experience with the Tripleseat Events platform is highly valued.

• Excellent tone and manner on phone, email and message platforms - we use these daily

• Good with tech, daily we use booking systems, online phone systems, spreadsheets for records etc

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• We operate in a Brisbane based office environment across 7 days each and every week from 8am to 8pm - weekend availability is a must.
