Job summary

Diggers at The Entrance in The Entrance, NSW, seeks an experienced Events Coordinator to join our Marketing team. You’ll drive event sales, coordinate a range of functions and create engaging content that showcases the Club’s activities.

Working with the Marketing Manager, you’ll build client relationships, manage event run sheets and budgets, and help plan promotions and the events calendar. This role suits a creative, highly organized professional with hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event sales and coordination (hospitality or clubs industry experience highly regarded).
• Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings, event details and reporting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
• A creative eye for content and brand promotion with experience creating content across social media platforms.
• Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Flexible availability for occasional evenings, weekends and public holidays when major events are on.

Responsibilities

• Drive function sales by managing enquiries, creating tailored packages, conducting site tours and converting leads into confirmed bookings.
• Coordinate and deliver a variety of events – from corporate events and themed nights to member celebrations and Social Bowls & Pickleball activities.
• Build strong client and member relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals.
• Prepare event schedules, event run sheets and operational briefs.
• Work closely with catering, bar and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of functions and events.
• Prepare monthly campaign & event reports, manage event budgets ensuring financial efficiency while maximising member value.
• Capture engaging day to day photos and video content including reels, stories and event highlights that showcase what’s happening across the Club activities.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with the planning and delivery of Club promotions, entertainment and events calendar.
