Job summary

Hume City Council in Melbourne is seeking an enthusiastic Audio-Visual Technician to support events across Town Hall Broadmeadows, Hume Global Learning Centres and other facilities. You will set up, operate and pack down AV equipment, provide technical support, respond to incidents, and maintain records. Qualifications include AV qualifications with at least two years on the job, and you will work within a collaborative team that values safety and inclusivity.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Audio Visual with at least two years on the job experience.

Responsibilities

• Setup and pack down of AV equipment for all events.
• Respond to requests for support and allocate unresolved issues; maintain records.
• Provide high-quality customer service for clients hiring venues or facilities.
• Manage complaints in consultation with senior leadership for Venues and Operations.
• Develop and maintain understanding of Hume City Council policies and processes.
• Provide support to the broader Community Facilities Unit.
