Job summary

Alpha Dining, a premier hospitality venue, seeks enthusiastic Casual Event Waitstaff to join our dynamic team in Sydney CBD and at waterfront Woolwich locations. You will deliver outstanding guest service during events, executing the full service sequence on the floor and collaborating with management and colleagues to uphold Dedes Group’s reputation for excellence.

This hands-on role requires availability for evenings, weekends and special events on a rotating roster.

Qualifications

• Current NSW RSA certificate is essential.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and events on rotating roster.
• Strong hospitality service focus and passion.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of wine and food is valued.
• Familiarity with POS and reservations software is a plus.
• Driving ability is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards for all guests.
• Execute the full sequence of service accurately, professionally, and in a friendly manner.
• Work collaboratively with management, floor, bar and kitchen teams to enhance service delivery.
• Ensure the venue is prepared before each service and follow pack-down procedures diligently.
• Adhere to a high level of safety in the workplace, compliant with WHS Act 2013.
• Assist in motivating colleagues and ensure adherence to the Company’s code of conduct.
• Perform various job-related duties as assigned by management.

About the Role

As Casual Event Waitstaff, your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service to all event guests. • Good food and wine knowledge is highly valued.

• Knowledge of Ideal POS software is beneficial; familiarity with Respak Reservations software is a plus, but not compulsory.
