Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in Australia seeks a Guest Services-focused professional to deliver exceptional food and beverage service in a premium hotel dining environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and hotel team, maintaining a polished restaurant and supporting opening/closing duties.

Candidates should have RSA or be willing to obtain one, with experience in high-volume hospitality. The role requires flexibility across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support opening and closing duties as required.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and upholding the high standards expected within a premium hotel dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive and efficient food and beverage service to all guests
• Take and process food and beverage orders with accuracy and care
• Ensure food and beverages are delivered and presented in a timely, polished manner
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming restaurant environment
• Assist with table set-up, clearing and resetting throughout service
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and wider hotel team to ensure seamless service
• Adhere to hotel policies, food safety standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and responsible service of alcohol regulations
• Support opening and closing duties as required

Qualifications

About You

• Have a valid RSA or be willing to obtain one
• Previous experience in a high-volume hotel or premium restaurant environment is highly desirable.
• Thoughtful, accurate, and quick on your feet without sacrificing quality.
• Positive, personable, and adaptable under pressure.
• Always ready to jump in and support your team members.
• Available to work a rotating schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
