Job summary

Bella Vista Hotel and Brewery in NSW is seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to lead our event sales, client experience and growth. This hands-on role combines sales, business development and event planning, with a strong focus on growing event revenue and delivering memorable experiences.

You will manage enquiries, meet clients, prepare proposals and coordinate with venue teams to deliver exceptional events for corporate bookings, celebrations and large functions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in event sales or event management.
• Proven sale track record meeting revenue targets.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

• Review client feedback, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
• Support and guide event coordinators and team members to ensure consistently high standards.

Located in the heart of Norwest, Bella Vista Hotel is a vibrant dining, entertainment and events destination with a range of unique spaces catering to everything from corporate events and celebrations to cocktail parties and large-scale functions.

We’re looking for an experienced Event Sales Manager to join Bella Vista Hotel and take ownership of our event sales and client experience. This hands‑on role combines sales, business development and event planning, with a strong focus on growing event revenue and delivering exceptional experiences.

What you’ll be doing

About you

3+ years’ experience in event sales, functions or event management, ideally within hospitality or a venue environment.

A proven ability to drive sales and achieve revenue targets.

Strong business development and client relationship skills.

Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.

A confident, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities.

Experience with iVvy or similar event management/CRM systems is highly regarded.

Flexibility to attend key events outside standard business hours when required.
