Job summary

Bella Vista Hotel in NSW is seeking an experienced Bar Manager to own the bar operations and beverage experience. This hands-on leadership role combines team management, beverage operations, stock and cost control, and exceptional guest service in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in venue or bar management within high-volume bars or large-format venues.
• Expert cocktail and/or wine knowledge with a knack for creative menu development.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, train and develop a high-performing bar team.
• High standards of organisation, a flair for customer interaction and an eye for detail.
• Ability to manage budgets, inventory, cost control and financial reconciliations with precision.

• Perform financial reconciliations, including cash handling and balancing, to ensure accurate financial records
• Manage and supervise all bar staff, including scheduling, training and performance management
• Monitor and analyse bar performance data to identify opportunities for improvement
