Job summary

SOCO Event Hire seeks a reliable, hands-on crew member for its Event Delivery & Warehouse team across the NSW South Coast. You will move gear, set up and pack down furniture, and support setups at wedding, corporate, and private events.

You’ll be out in the field and in the warehouse, adapting to different days and venues while keeping gear in top condition. A driver’s licence and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's licence is required.
• Previous event, warehouse, or labouring experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends and peak event periods.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks with care and efficiency.
• Setting up and packing down furniture, props, and styling items onsite.
• Delivering and collecting gear at locations across NSW – Sydney, South Coast & Southern Highlands.
• Helping with equipment installs and setups.
• Cleaning, maintaining and inspecting gear to keep quality high.
• Following lead of teammates while also using own initiative to get the job done.

SOCO Event Hire is where unforgettable moments begin - and we're looking for reliable, hands-on legends to join our Event Delivery & Warehouse Crew across the stunning South Coast of NSW.

One day you might be in the warehouse prepping gear, and the next youre road-tripping to a private property to help set up an epic wedding or corporate event. We're talking dream venues, big builds, team banter, and the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life.

We dont just drop off furniture - we build experiences. Whether its a beachfront ceremony, a high-end product launch, or a backyard party with style, youll be part of the crew making it happen behind the scenes.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

You wont be stuck doing the same thing every day - this is a hands-on role where you'll be out and about, working alongside a solid crew to bring events to life.

What you’ll be doing:

• a) Loading and unloading trucks with care and efficiency
• b) Setting up and packing down furniture, props, and styling items onsite
• c) Delivering and collecting gear at incredible locations across NSW - Sydney, South Coast & Southern Highlands
• d) Helping with equipment installs - sometimes it's big work, but always rewarding
• e) Keeping everything looking fresh - cleaning, maintaining and checking over gear to keep quality high
• f) Following the lead of your team mates while also backing your own initiative to get the job done right
• g) Working hard, having a laugh, and enjoying the satisfaction of seeing a space transformed before your eyes

Youll also:

• Think ahead and share ideas for how we can do things better - were all about improving by 1% every day
• Pass on feedback from clients so we can keep lifting our game
• Communicate with the Sales and Ops teams to make sure deliveries and setups are spot on
• Work fast, work clean, and take pride in a job well done
• Keep quality high - from double-checking counts in the warehouse to giving each piece a once-over before it goes out
