The Deck Brighton is seeking an experienced Function Manager to join our hospitality team. This casual/part-time role focuses on delivering memorable events and seamless guest experiences, from enquiries to execution.

Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and liaising with kitchen, bar and floor teams, plus managing run sheets, supplier coordination and on-the-day operations to ensure high standards of food and service.

• Previous experience in functions or events (hospitality preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all function enquiries, bookings and client communications.
• Plan and coordinate events from start to finish.
• Prepare run sheets and liaise with kitchen, bar and floor teams.
• Oversee event setup, styling and smooth on-the-day operations.
• Work with suppliers to ensure high standards of food, service and guest experience.
• Handle payments, follow up with clients and build repeat business.
