Job summary

Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development NSW – Orange NSW is seeking an Evaluation Data Analyst to contribute to monitoring and evaluation activities across Regional Programs & Partnerships. You will support data collection, management, analysis and reporting that underpins evaluation findings and informs evidence-based decision making.

You will analyse data from multiple sources, create dashboards and reports, improve data quality, and deliver insights to support program

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience collecting, managing, analysing, and reporting on data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns and insights.
• Experience using data analysis and visualisation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power Query, Power BI, or similar software.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly through reports, dashboards, visuals and presentations.

• Location: Willing to consider candidates across all DPIRD NSW locations. Preference will be given to candidates based regionally.
• Clerk Grade 7/8– Salary starting from$116,981.00 per annum(FTE)plus super and leave loading

About the Role

As an Evaluation Data Analyst, you will contribute to the delivery of monitoring and evaluation activities across Regional Programs & Partnerships. You will support the collection, management, analysis and reporting of data that underpins evaluation findings and helps drive evidence-based decision making

You are an analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights. You can confidently work with data, communicate findings clearly and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

You will have:
