Job summary

Zeekr Centre Brisbane is seeking a Mechanical and Technical Specialist for Electric Cars to join our EV service team in Albion, QLD. You will diagnose and repair EV electrical systems, manage battery tech, and perform scheduled servicing to ensure peak vehicle performance.

Qualifications

• Qualification in automotive mechanics, electrical systems, or equivalent trade qualification.
• Experience servicing and repairing vehicles, with EV technology experience desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and battery technology.
• Competence with diagnostic equipment and vehicle management software.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, battery management systems, and electric powertrains in electric vehicles.
• Performing scheduled maintenance and servicing on electric vehicles per manufacturer specifications.
• Conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections and identifying mechanical and technical issues.
• Operating diagnostic equipment and software specific to electric vehicle technology.
• Liaising with customers to explain technical issues, repair requirements and maintenance recommendations.
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for all vehicles serviced.
• Staying current with electric vehicle technology updates and manufacturer service bulletins.
• Supporting the service team to ensure efficient workshop operations and customer satisfaction.
• Adhering to all health and safety protocols and environmental regulations within the workshop.
