Job summary

ZEEKR Centre Brisbane is seeking a reliable, mechanically minded Pre-Delivery Technician to perform pre-delivery inspections and quality checks on new vehicles at our Brisbane site. You will support vehicle movements and customer deliveries as required, ensuring every vehicle meets our standards before handover.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and teamwork skills. EV knowledge is a plus; a mechanical qualification is preferred but not mandatory, with work

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, workshop or dealership preferred.
• Good basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to identify mechanical and cosmetic defects.
• EV knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A mechanical qualification is preferred but not essential; all mechanical and electrical work must be performed within the employee's qualifications and authorisation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new vehicles.
• Perform basic mechanical checks, including tyres, brakes, fluid levels and visible components.
• Check EV charging systems, warning lights and electronic features.
• Identify paint defects, scratches, dents and vehicle damage.
• Inspect vehicle interiors, exteriors and accessories.
• Coordinate vehicle detailing, repairs and preparation.
• Complete final quality checks before customer delivery.
• Assist with vehicle movements, stock management and delivery coordination as required.
• Maintain PDI checklists and report defects to management.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for delivery on time.
