Job summary

MSI is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – EV Charging for our Australian team to provide technical and application support for EV charging solutions. You will act as the technical link between MSI, overseas FAEs, customers and global R&D teams, resolving system-level and application-level issues, and developing documentation and training materials.

You will also support sales with technical presentations and gather market feedback to drive product improvements and strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or related discipline.
1–3 years of relevant experience in technical support or similar role.
Experience with industrial control equipment or electromechanical systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong cross-cultural communication skills.

Responsibilities

Respond to technical enquiries from overseas FAEs and customers, providing timely and accurate technical guidance and solutions.
Gather feedback from customer sites and collaborate with R&D and product teams to support continuous product improvement.
Investigate, reproduce and resolve EV charging system issues, including hardware, firmware, communication protocols and backend integration.
Develop technical documentation, user manuals and training guides, using multimedia formats where appropriate.
Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to customers and internal teams, explaining product features, functionality and application scenarios.
Support the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations and application guidance to help customers understand product features and value.
Collect market requirements, customer feedback and competitor insights, and communicate findings to R&D and product teams to support product development, optimisation and strategic planning.
