Design & Build Recruitment in Sydney is seeking an experienced Estimator for commercial fit-out and defence projects. The role involves cost estimation, tender submissions, and collaboration with delivery teams to ensure competitive pricing.

You will review drawings and documentation, manage subcontractor pricing, perform quantity take-offs, and support budgeting and procurement throughout the tender process. Australian citizenship and security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within commercial construction or fit out is required.
• Strong understanding of Australian construction methods and pricing is essential.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously is necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.
• Experience with defence projects is highly regarded but not essential.

We're partnering with a well-established Design & Construction contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit out and defence projects across Sydney.

With a strong project pipeline and continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Estimator to join their collaborative pre-construction team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a diverse range of projects, from commercial workplace fit outs through to secure defence facilities.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and competitive tenders while working closely with the delivery and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities:
