Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking an Estimator to join their close-knit team delivering custom residential projects across Sydney's Inner West. You’ll work across estimating, tendering, procurement and cost planning, with genuine progression towards a Project Manager role.

This role runs Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with exposure to pre-construction and project delivery on inner west renovations and new homes. Join an established team committed to quality design and value-driven cost control.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in estimating, tenders, procurement or residential construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Good numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Construction Management/Building qualification and Databuild experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates, tenders and quantity take-offs.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare trade scopes and assist with procurement.
• Assist with project costings and variations.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
• Support the transition of projects from pre-construction into delivery.
