Job summary

Linktal Recruitment is partnering with a respected Eastwood-based iCIRT Tier 2 Developer/Builder to appoint an Estimator. You will own estimating and preconstruction across a pipeline of medium-rise residential and mixed-use projects, working closely with the Director in a collaborative environment.

The role requires strong experience in builder/developer settings, exposure to Class 2 residential or mixed-use schemes, and a sharp commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating for Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments.
• Proven ability to prepare cost plans, feasibility studies and tender submissions.
• Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail.
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and directors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans, feasibility studies and tender submissions.
• Analyse drawings, specifications and development requirements.
• Engage and manage subcontractor pricing and trade packages.
• Identify cost risks, value engineering opportunities and build efficiencies.
• Work with the Director on project strategy and procurement decisions.
• Support ongoing improvement of estimating systems and cost databases.
• Contribute to early contractor involvement (ECI) and development planning stages.
