Job summary

Frontline Recruitment is seeking a Residential Estimator for a Castle Hill-based role. You will split time between estimating (about 80%) and contracts administration (about 20%), taking ownership of the estimating process from plans to quotations.

You should understand residential construction, pricing of extensions and renovations, and coordinate with the Project Manager to keep projects on track across 10–12 residential sites.

Qualifications

• Previous estimating experience within residential construction.
• Ability to price extensions, renovations and bespoke residential projects.
• Confident reading of architectural plans and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of residential building materials and trades.
• Experience with take-offs and preparing detailed estimates.
• Attention to detail and commercial awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with estimating or construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and quotations for residential extensions, renovations and construction projects.
• Review architectural plans, drawings and specifications to identify requirements.
• Price materials, labour and subcontractor costs and enter into software.
• Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing and monitor budgets.
• Support contracts administration and handover to delivery team.
• Coordinate project requirements with the Project Manager.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy.
