The role involves managing tenders for projects valued between $5m-$30m and requires strong communication and management skills. Candidates should have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and at least 5 years of experience in civil construction projects. This full-time position focuses on delivering successful outcomes for various projects across Sydney.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m+.

Responsibilities

• Working on tenders.

Role overview

Our client is an established Tier 3 civil contractor, that have a strong presence in both the public and private sectors, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Estimator to join their growing business.

As the Estimator you’ll be joining a thriving business within an already 3 person estimating team where you be responsible for working across numerous tenders in the civil sector valued between $5m-$30m. You will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.

Types of projects include sub divisions, bulk earthworks, general civil, roadworks. Sub division experience is highly preferable.

Candidates will need to have strong communication skills as will be part of the preconstruction team and will be involved in putting tenders together as well as tender interviews. Projects located across Sydney Metro but based out of the Sydney office.
