Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for projects up to $50M.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
• Complete take-offs, BOQs and cost planning.
• Develop scopes of work and trade packages.
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Prepare tender comparisons and trade analysis.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and value-management options.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal delivery teams.
• Assist with tender presentations, clarifications and handover to construction.
• Maintain strong subcontractor relationships and current market pricing.

The Role

About You

• Previous estimating experience with an Australian Head Contractor / Main Contractor
• Demonstrated experience pricing construction projects up to $50M
• Strong understanding of construction methodology, trade packages and buildability
• Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
• Established subcontractor relationships within the Sydney market
• Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with both pre-construction and delivery teams
• Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or related qualification advantageous
