Job summary

CGC Recruitment partners with a NSW contractor to appoint an Estimator who can own pricing across a varied pipeline of work including new build, remediation and infrastructure.

You'll work directly with senior leadership and take ownership of estimating and tendering as the business scales. Sponsorship is available for the right candidate, with long-term progression in a growing team.

Qualifications

• 5 years total industry experience and a minimum of 2 years as an Estimator.

Estimator wanted for a growing contractor delivering new build, remedial & infrastructure projects. Direct access to senior leadership and growth.

Full Job Description

This isn't a role where you'll sit in a large estimating team pricing the same type of project every week, We're working directly with the Founding Director and General Manager of a growing NSW contractor to appoint an Estimator who can become a key part of the business as it scales.

The company is led by people with Tier 1 construction backgrounds, strong industry relationships and an established client network. Their work crosses new-build construction, remediation and infrastructure, with exposure to assets including industrial and commercial buildings, ports, bridges and other complex infrastructure.

Their capability includes concrete remediation, waterproofing, structural repairs, façades, protective coatings and fire-protection systems.

The role Reporting directly into senior leadership, you'll take ownership of estimating and tendering across a varied pipeline of work.

Who they're looking for

They're open on background. You could come from a head contractor, specialist contractor, remedial, civil or commercial construction business ideally with 5 years total industry experience and a minimum of 2 years as an Estimator.

Experience across concrete, waterproofing, structural remediation or fire protection would be particularly valuable given the contractor's technical offering.

More importantly, they want someone commercially switched on who wants to grow with a business rather than simply price tenders and move on to the next one.
