Job summary

Downer in Canberra is seeking an Estate Works Coordinator to join our permanent workforce, coordinating estate maintenance and minor works while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. The role offers a broad scope across planning, procurement, and coordination with Defence estates.

You will develop scopes of work, oversee site investigations, and maintain comprehensive records, contributing to high-quality outcomes for our clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating estate works, maintenance, construction or defence estate activities.
• Ability to develop scopes of work and coordinate quotes and subcontractor delivery.
• Strong planning, follow-up and attention to detail with stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge of WHS, environmental, quality, procurement and document control requirements.
• Eligibility to obtain a Construction White Card and AGSVA security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Estate Maintenance Requests, Estate Works and minor new works through planning, delivery and close-out.
• Develop clear scopes of work and coordinate site investigations, quotes, clarifications and comparisons.
• Maintain work trackers, schedules, actions and stakeholder updates, escalating risks and delays early.
• Monitor safety, quality and contract requirements, including variations, defects and practical completion.
• Capture completion documentation, asset data, certificates, warranties and audit-ready close-out records.
