Job summary

xceltium currently seeks an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to help drive a major ERP transformation. You will work with stakeholders across operations and finance to shape practical, scalable solutions and ensure they align with long-term sustainability.

You’ll contribute across the ERP implementation lifecycle, translating requirements into configurations and guiding testing, deployment and continuous improvement. This is a permanent, on-site role near Sydney.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise ERP implementations or transformations.
• Strong business process analysis and requirements definition.
• Experience with fit-gap analyses and preparing functional specifications.
• Practical understanding of ERP configuration, integration considerations, testing and deployment.
• Ability to challenge requirements, evaluate options and propose solutions.
• Ability to work independently while building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops, analyse business processes and define functional requirements.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and recommend improvements to workflows.
• Translate complex requirements into functional specs, configurations and designs.
• Collaborate with technical specialists on integrations and proposed solutions.
• Support system testing, UAT, defect resolution, deployment and readiness.
• Provide functional guidance as new capabilities are introduced and the platform evolves.
