xceltium currently seeks an experienced ERP Functional Consultant to help drive a major ERP transformation. You will work with stakeholders across operations and finance to shape practical, scalable solutions and ensure they align with long-term sustainability.
You’ll contribute across the ERP implementation lifecycle, translating requirements into configurations and guiding testing, deployment and continuous improvement. This is a permanent, on-site role near Sydney.
You've spent years developing your ERP expertise. But your greatest value isn't simply knowing how to configure a system.
It's understanding how a business operates, identifying what needs to change and translating complex requirements into solutions that work.
Our client is looking for exactly that capability.
They're undertaking a significant ERP transformation and want an experienced Functional Consultant who can bring sound judgement, established consulting skills and a fresh perspective.
Whether your background is in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or another enterprise ERP platform, your experience could be highly relevant.
You’ll join an organisation making important decisions about how its future ERP environment will operate.
Working directly with stakeholders across operational and corporate functions, you’ll develop a detailed understanding of existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and help shape practical solutions.
This isn’t about transferring outdated processes into a new system.
You’ll be encouraged to question assumptions, assess standard ERP functionality against business requirements and recommend approaches that balance operational needs with long-term sustainability.
Importantly, you’ll be part of the internal team responsible for delivering the transformation, giving you the opportunity to see your recommendations through to implementation.
Working alongside business stakeholders, Solution Architects, Developers and delivery teams, you’ll contribute across the ERP implementation lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include:
You’ll need to be comfortable taking ownership of functional outcomes, explaining your recommendations and helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
Our client is an established Australian organisation investing significantly in its technology and operating model.
With strong executive backing, the business is implementing a modern ERP platform and strengthening its internal technology capability.
You’ll join an experienced team committed to delivering a successful transformation and supporting the organisation’s evolving technology needs.
We’re looking for an experienced ERP Functional Consultant who has played a meaningful role in enterprise ERP implementations, enhancements or transformation programs.
Your experience could be in SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or another established ERP platform.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is the organisation's chosen platform, but previous experience with it is not essential. Your ability to apply strong functional consulting principles in a new environment is more important.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
Experience across distribution, warehousing, supply chain or finance would be particularly relevant.
You’ll also bring curiosity, initiative and a commitment to continuous learning. You’re someone who asks thoughtful questions, follows issues through to resolution and takes pride in the quality of your work.
You’ll join at a stage where your functional expertise can influence important design decisions, rather than inheriting a solution that’s already been defined.
Your experience with other ERP platforms will be valued, and you’ll have the opportunity to develop your Microsoft Dynamics 365 capability.
As part of the internal team, you’ll also see how your solutions perform in practice, refine them over time and help shape future improvements.

The role is five days onsite, reflecting the organisation's collaborative culture and the importance of working closely with stakeholders throughout the transformation.
