Job summary

MineARC is seeking a welder to join our Fabrication workshop in Kewdale, Australia. You will fabricate and weld mostly mild steel, read engineering drawings, and contribute to a growing international team.

This role offers a daytime shift 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on safety and quality in a brand-new facility. Australian drivers license preferred; MIG experience valued; strong teamwork encouraged.

Qualifications

• Welding experience is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• MIG welding experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld mostly mild steel light to medium gauge material.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to plan work.
• Work autonomously and in a team in a workshop environment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday.

About us: MineARC Systems is the global leader in controlled environments and safety technologies for the underground mining, tunnelling,petrochem, biotechnology and research industries and export to over 80 countries. We have recently set up a state-of-the-art fabrication facility with brand new cutting, bending, powder coating, fabrication and welding equipment. MineARC has gone from strength to strength and will now be fabricating our own OEM equipment. We are now looking for Expressions of Interest to join our team in Kewdale. This is an exciting time to join MineARC as we have multiple and varied projects on the go at our new workshop.

The Role

• Fabrication and welding of mostly mild steel light to medium gauge material
• Ableto read andinterpret engineering drawings and work accurately to plan
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a workshop environment
• Ensure that the surrounding work area and workshops are maintained in a clean and safe state
• 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday to Friday

About you

• Australian Drivers Licence
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Welding experience is essential
• MIG experience would be highly regarded
• Strong commitment towards safety and quality
