Job summary

Envite Environment, a division of Workways Australia, seeks an Environment Supervisor to lead field teams in ecological restoration and NRM activities. The role focuses on bush regeneration, weed control, and site assessments in challenging outdoor environments, with emphasis on safety and best practices.

You will coordinate budgets, quotations, and planning, while collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality restoration outcomes in line with environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in bush regeneration and related fields such as horticulture or weed control.
• Proven experience in supervising teams and performance management.
• Project management experience including budgets, quotes, and on-ground service planning.
• Understanding of best practice bush regeneration, landscaping and light construction.
• Knowledge of weed control, vegetation communities, plant identification, and environmental issues.

Job description

The Environment Supervisor (ES) is responsible for on-ground supervision and coordination of the Environment field team, undertaking natural resource management (NRM) activities including bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation and site assessment. The ES plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation operates in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.

About You

• You have experience in bush regeneration and / or associated fields of work, such as horticulture,weed control,revegetationand landscaping.
• You have experience in Supervising teams and performance.
• You have experience in project management, including preparation of budgets, quotations, assessment and planning of on-ground service delivery.
• You have an understanding of best practice bush regeneration,landscapingandlight construction
• You demonstrate knowledge of weed control measures,vegetation communities, plant identification skills, and awareness of environmental issues.
• You have strong communicationand administrative skills, including the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
• You have a demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and systems, and their relationship to business/ projectobjectives.
• You have the ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Workways/Envite Australia.
• Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent
• Drivers Licence
• Experience leading teams whilst undertaking ecological restoration.
• White Card (Construction)
• Physically fit, motivated and capable of working in challenging outdoor environments
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
• Understanding and ability to follow WHS policies and procedures
• ACDC Licence
• Senior First Aid
• Chainsaw Certificate Level 1 & 2
• 4x4 experience/qualifications
