Job summary

Envite Environment, a division of Workways Australia, seeks an Environment Officer to support delivery and coordination of environmental projects and services across Victoria. You will assist with proposal preparation, reporting, and risk management while collaborating with stakeholders and teams on-site.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to environmental protection, with opportunities for training and development and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bush regeneration, horticulture, revegetation and landscaping experience.
• Knowledge of best practices for weed control and nursery work.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and teams.
• Ability to lead and supervise on-site work.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Leadership Team in delivering environmental projects and services.

About the Opportunity

The Environment Officer will support the EnviTE Senior Leadership Team in the delivery and coordination of Environmental projects and services including but not limited to preparation of proposals, reports, administrative support, quality and risk management.

About you

• Eexperienced in bush regeneration, horticulture, revegetation, and landscaping.
• Kknowledgeable in best practices for bush regeneration, weed control, and nursery work.
• Skilled in identifying plants and understanding local vegetation communities.
• Confident in leading teams and supervising on-site work.
• Experienced in managing projects from start to finish.
• Pprofessional in your communication with all stakeholders.
• Aable to work independently and also as part of a team.
• A clear communicator, both verbally and in writing.
• Ccomfortable using Windows and basic computer programs.
• Aware of risk management and apply safety practices.
• Committed to protecting the environment and supporting the community.
• T trained in using tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• A team player who shares the values of Envite/Workways Australia.

Desired Qualifications

• Formal qualifications in NRM, Conservation or Land Management.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110).
• Qualifications in Chainsaw Operations.
• Current Chemical Users certificate.
• Current First Aid certificate.
• White Card (General Construction Induction).
• Project Management or equivalent experience
