Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking a hands-on environmental professional to deliver bushland management across Melbourne's northern suburbs. The role involves weed control, revegetation, habitat restoration and community engagement to protect local conservation reserves.

You will support volunteers, assist with planning and record-keeping, and help maintain safe work practices within a collaborative team. The position is a temporary full-time role with learning opportunities and a strong focus on

Qualifications

• Qualification in Natural Resource Management, Environmental Science or related field.
• Experience in bushland management, conservation or ecological restoration.
• Knowledge of local native flora, fauna and weed species.
• Understanding of ecological processes and vegetation management.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

Desirable

• Chainsaw Level 1 certification.
• Chemical Users Certificate and/or ACUP accreditation.
• Experience supervising volunteers, trainees or community groups.
