Job summary

Envite Environment, a division of Workways Australia, seeks an Environment Supervisor to lead field teams in bush regeneration, weed control and revegetation in Lismore, NSW.

You will coordinate on-ground service delivery, manage budgets and schedules, and uphold WHS standards in outdoor environments. Strong communication and computer skills are required to report progress and risks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years bush regeneration experience.
• Driver's Licence
• Experience leading teams whilst undertaking ecological restoration.
• White Card (Construction)
• Physically fit for outdoor environments
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
• Understanding WHS policies and procedures

Environment Supervisor

Location- Lismore, NSW

Contract - Full Time Permanent

About the Role

The Environment Supervisor (ES) is responsible for on-ground supervision and coordination of the Environment field team, undertaking natural resource management (NRM) activities including bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation and site assessment. The ES plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation operates in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.

About You:

• You have experience in bush regeneration and / or associated fields of work, such as horticulture,weed control,revegetationand landscaping.
• You have experience in Supervising teams and performance.
• You have experience in project management, including preparation of budgets, quotations, assessment and planning of on-ground service delivery.
• You have an understanding of best practice bush regeneration,landscapingandlight construction
• You demonstrate knowledge of weed control measures,vegetation communities, plant identification skills, and awareness of environmental issues.
• You have strong communicationand administrative skills, including the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
• You have a demonstrated understanding of risk management processes and systems, and their relationship to business/ projectobjectives.
• You have the ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Workways/Envite Australia.

Essential Criteria

• Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent

Desirable Criteria

• ACDC Licence
• Senior First Aid
• Chainsaw Certificate Level 1 & 2
• 4x4 experience/qualifications
