Ramsay Health Care in Australia seeks a Casual Environmental Services Officer to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming hospital environment and support high-quality patient care.

You will perform cleaning, sanitisation and waste management, follow infection control protocols and report safety issues. The role offers a flexible roster across mornings, afternoons and nights at an Australian private hospital.

Formación

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work across a 7-day rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and nights.
• Ability to cover core shift patterns 07:00–15:30 and 12:00–20:00.
• Positive, patient and compassionate with strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a solid grasp of infection control basics.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of assigned areas including offices, restrooms and common areas.
• Vacuuming, mopping and operate specialised floor-cleaning machinery.
• Remove rubbish and medical waste safely and in line with hospital procedures.
• Operate floor cleaning machinery; full training provided.
• Follow Infection Control, WHS and hospital protocols.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards or safety concerns to supervisors.

We are seeking Casual Environmental Services Officer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment, contributing to high standards of cleanliness and supporting quality patient care.

About the Role

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, common areas, and specialised spaces
• Perform vacuuming, mopping, and operate specialised floor-cleaning machinery.
• Remove rubbish and medical waste safely and efficiently in line with hospital procedures.
• Operate floor cleaning machinery and equipment (full training provided)
• Strictly follow Infection Control, Workplace Health and Safety (WHS), and hospital protocols.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns to supervisors.

About You:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or environmental services experience is highly desirable.
• Availability to work across a 7-day rotating roster (including mornings, afternoons, and nights) is essential.
• Ability to cover core shift patterns of 07:00–15:30 and 12:00–20:00.
